Hey, I'm Lindie... And that's me on my wedding day
My life and love story
I got married in 2019 in England, my vision for our wedding was this:
A small intimate guest list of our favourite people, in a small cosy non-traditional venue. I wanted a midi dress I could dance and swish in, a dress I could one day dye and wear again, no veil and my favourite (then signature) red lipstick.
We wanted stress free, donuts in liu of wedding cake, delicious food and our guests' favourite tunes. We wanted chilled, relaxed and non traditional- just like us.
WHAT MAKES A GOOD PHOTOGRAPH?
I often ask the couples and families I work with to send me their all time favourite photo. This is a hard task because our camera rolls are fullll of favourite photos. Below are a handful of mine. This is to show that our favourite photos aren't always the professional, perfectly lit and edited ones, but that they can be the ones taken in terrible lighting on our 3 Megapixel phones back in the day, and most often, weren't planned. By sharing your favourite photo with me, I get to know what makes a good photo, to you, but also remind you that you need not be self conscious or worried about having your photos taken, the best ones will be captured when you're most comfortable and just having fun.
A little bit more about me
I'm a creative wife and mama living in Wolverhampton, which is a small city in the West Midlands. Though not the most exciting English city, I love its proximity to beautiful towns, villages and countryside which have great options for small non-traditional venues. I spent two years during the covid season living and working in Edinburgh, which is where my baby boy was born and my photography journey was reignited. After years of taking photos of flowers that just lived on my camera roll, I decided to take a creative photography course that led me to working with and photographing couples in love as well as couples celebrating the parenthood season of their lives.
I love having the perspective of having been a bride, as well as a new parent and being able to work with couples and parents to document these exciting life seasons.
Instead of fun facts here, I've decided to tell you 2 truths and a lie:
- 1) I dyed my hair red once and it went very wrong.
- 2) My childhood pet was a lizard named Lili-Pad
- 3) I speak 2 native African languages.
I'd love to tell you the stories behind my 2 truths when we chat.
My Approach to Photographing You
candid-y, sort of lifestyle-y documentary photography
I have a documentary approach to photographing you on your day. This means that my primary goal is to photograph the events of the day as they happen.
However who doesn't like a pretty photo? I like to get close ups of details, and some creative shots that make the best use of the surroundings including the light and reflections, as well as make use of creative photography techniques.
Finally, I love capturing candid emotion and expressions from you and your guests- all the smiles, laughs and tears!
this is the part where I tell you why you should choose me

YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH ME
YOUR EXPERIENCE WITH ME
It's so important to me that I'm a good fit for you because I genuinely believe that the best photos are taken by our friends and our families, not strangers we meet on the internet.
My aim is to get to know you and your vision so well, that I photograph you as I would my very own family and friends.
This means zoom chats, quirky questionnaires, a coffee meet up if you're local and count down emails so we can get excited together.
DOES THIS SOUND GOOD TO YOU?
