WHAT HAPPENS AT A FAMILY SESSION?

Each session is more like an experience than a photoshoot.

My family sessions are a celebration of connection, curiosity, and the quiet, beautiful chaos of real life. They're designed for families who are looking for something a little different,  not the perfectly posed or polished, but the honest, heartfelt moments that unfold naturally when you're simply being together.

We meet in one of my favourite outdoor spots, wild beaches, hidden forest paths, windswept hills, or right here in the heart of Edinburgh among cobbled streets and historic backdrops. From there, we let the story unfold. Children are free to roam, explore, climb, and play. You can hold hands, share jokes, cuddle, or just walk together. There’s no pressure to perform or pose, just time to be yourselves.

My approach is gentle and unintrusive. I’ll quietly guide when needed, but mostly I observe, allowing you space to connect with one another in a way that feels genuine. It’s in these in-between moments, a glance, a giggle, a squeeze of the hand, that the real magic happens.
